College of Engineering is offering several high impact courses during Summer session. We encourage current and prospective students to check the summer session schedule and consider enrolling in courses offered during summer session. The courses offered in summer session are strategically chosen to allow student get ahead and stay on track with graduation. The courses offered in summer session are high impact courses serving as prerequisite to many other courses in the program. Enrolling and passing a high impact course in the summer qualifies the student to be enrolled in more advanced topics in the Fall semester. Enrolling in summer semester courses also allows the engineering students to balance their schedules and improve their GPAs.
Financial aid is available to students who enroll in summer session, to be considered for summer financial aid you must meet specific criteria. Visit the Student Account Services site for more information.

2015 Outstanding Graduate Feature
For the month of July and August, we will celebrate our Outstanding Graduates of 2015, who are chosen by vote by the CCEE Faculty. For the month of August, we are featuring: Keith Walsh. Keith Walsh has been deeply involved in the Construction Engineering Program since he joined the department in 2011. Please help us congratulate our Outstanding Graduate featured for August!

Additional Biography of Keith Walsh:
Keith led the AGC/CMAA Student Chapter as President in 2013 and has facilitated successful
competitions and events for our students throughout his involvement. He led competition
teams to national championships including the NECA Green Energy Challenge, the Design
Build Institute of America Student Competition, and the Associated Schools of Construction
"Reno Competition". In addition to student competitions and department involvement,
Keith has held full time internships since 2012 while maintaining "Deans List" status
throughout his college career. Keith has now started an exciting career as an Associate
Project Manager for Walt Disney Imagineering.

Tanner is a native to San Diego and transferred over to SDSU with an Associates Degree from Cuyamaca Community College and Grossmont Community College. SDSU Student Chapter for American Water Works Association (AWWA) Annual Conference Results |
The AWWA national annual conference was held in Anaheim, CA from June 7-June 10, 2015 and had over 20,000 attendees. Our SDSU Chapter consisted of Cari Campbell, Amy Bigelow, Federick Pinongcos, Kyle Nelson, Alexa Zapata and Loren Miller. They entered the Cal-Nevada poster competition and won first place with their entry entitled: "Detecting Microplastics in Water and Wastewater Streams Using Flourescence Spectroscopy." Congratulations! |
