CCEE Design Day

About Design Day

The end of each semester culminates with a Design Day event for our senior design teams from CIV E 495 to showcase their projects to the industry. In the Spring, the event is held in Montezuma Hall on campus and is college-wide and so also includes senior teams from the mechanical, aerospace, and other programs. In the Fall, the event is only for Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering majors and is held at Caltrans District 11 Headquarters in Old Town. Program Sponsors

Spring 2024

Design Day will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Viejas Arena on campus from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Parking is available for free in PS3 or paid parking in PS7 or PS12 (campus map).

Fall 2023

Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering's Fall 2023 Design Day will be held on Friday, December 8 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Caltrans Headquarters, 4050 Taylor St., San Diego, CA 92110.
